The Gaze

The Gaze pulls a storm of emotions, thoughts and flashes of insight into a single image.

At the heart of the tangle, an eye ringed in red and yellow holds a small blue point in a patch of white.

White strokes cut through the textured field like lightning, and in those flashes the chaos clears.

The painting asks whether the eye sees the world around us or the truth within.
