Overload

Surge

Overload explores psychological saturation and the collapse of perception under excessive streams of information, emotion, and internal noise.

Dense layers of intertwined gestures, fragmented lines, and conflicting color signals create the sensation of a mind overwhelmed by simultaneous transmissions. Beneath the apparent chaos, a hidden vertical structure emerges — resembling a fractured human presence suspended inside a turbulent cognitive field.

Unlike traditional action painting focused purely on gesture and spontaneity, the work maintains an underlying tension between disorder and structure, instinct and containment. Bright chromatic impulses collide against a dark compressed background, generating a field of pressure, interruption, and unstable rhythm.

As part of the Surge series, the work investigates moments when internal systems exceed their capacity for coherence, transforming perception into overload.
