Signa I

Signa I opens a series of ritual marks.

It belongs to the Signa series but also stands alone.

A double triangle in dense red on a black void pulls upward and downward at the same time. The form is carved, as if pulled from the surface by force. It is symmetrical, but not calm. Every stroke feels deliberate, urgent and physical. The red is raw and unfiltered — more a presence than a color.

The painting works as a signal.

It holds a single moment of concentration.

Here the form turns into an event.
