Persona Formation

Visages

Persona Formation explores adolescence as a turbulent process of constructing identity under emotional, social, and psychological pressure.

An unstable face emerges from a vortex-like field of blue gestures and dark currents, suspended between appearance and dissolution. Fragmented linear marks covering the figure resemble emotional traces, internal fractures, protective structures, or attempts to assemble a coherent self.

The absence of clearly defined features transforms the portrait into a psychological state. The surrounding movement functions as both environment and force — a visual manifestation of instability, noise, transformation, and internal tension.

As part of the Visages series, the work investigates the human face as a shifting structure shaped by memory, emotion, perception, and continuous reconstruction.
