Basalt

Signa

Basalt explores compressed energy captured at the threshold between structure and eruption. The work resembles a volcanic or industrial formation — a dense black mass expanding outward through repeated directional impulses.

Built from aggressive layered gestures and radial fragmentation, the composition evokes tectonic pressure, mineral architecture, and generative rhythm. The black forms behave simultaneously as matter, signal, and movement, creating a hypnotic field where force appears restrained yet constantly expanding.

The white background isolates the structure like an exposed artifact or seismic imprint, emphasizing the tension between void and density, silence and impact.

The work continues the artist’s exploration of energy as a living internal pressure shaping structure from within.
