Fracture

Fracture shows the moment a structure meets pressure and starts to change.

A network of dry, torn black strokes spreads outward from a dense dark knot, crossed by one vertical and one horizontal axis. The composition looks like an engineered system and a living organism at once; order and instability share the same space.

The black-and-white palette puts structure, rhythm, and force first and cuts the image down to its essentials. The two straight axes run into loose, broken gesture.

Energy is packed tight inside a rigid frame. The painting stops at the point where pressure brings hidden forces to light — the forces that shape a structure from within, test it, and remake it.

Fracture continues the Structural Energy series, in which energy is an organizing force. Here it stretches, compresses, and points, and it builds the space of the picture.
