Persona Collapse

Persona Collapse is the moment when an outer construct can no longer hold its shape.

On the green mask, a cracked turquoise rectangle sits where the mouth should be, and the real lips have slipped lower, into a frame of their own. The face remains present while the mask loses its function.

It is a threshold image: the persona collapses and transformation begins.

What is unique shows through as it pulls away from social standards.
