Leggerezza

A Vespa stands facing us, the name lettered on its front shield and a P just below the headlight.

The shape is easy to recognize, but the color is expressive and the lines are simplified. The golden outline sits on a turquoise background, streaked with rust-brown toward the bottom.

The body is drawn in a few golden lines, and the turquoise shows through the shield and the headlight, so the metal looks almost transparent.

Leggerezza finds the feeling hidden inside a familiar everyday object. It carries on an ongoing line of work: taking common forms and making them hold mood and inner states.
