Light

Light is a short series in acrylic on paper. The state is movement that does not stop — energy with nowhere to settle.

In Interweaving of Light it runs as long diagonal strokes of blue, red and yellow that cross into a lattice over a dark ground. In Dance it moves in circles brushed round and round, overlapping, the brighter ones laid over the darker. The two sheets share one size and keep the dark underneath, so the color on top reads as light.
